The Wingham Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 26 in the Wingham Services Club auditorium.
Members of the community as well as current business members are welcome to attend the meeting.
Networking will begin from 5.45pm onwards with the meeting commencing at 6.30pm.
Chamber members will be meeting to nominate new or existing members for the major committee positions and take on the roles for the 2018/2019 financial year.
“We also have volunteer positions available with our working groups,” said current chamber president Liz Jarvis.
“If you think you have some skills that we could utilise, please come along and put your name down as a helper, obligation free!”
Chamber committee
The executive committee works hard to ensure that the Wingham Chamber of Commerce is alive and vibrant.
Current members are working on some exciting new initiatives including a new timber noticeboard being erected outside Wingham Newsagency next week.
The idea for a noticeboard was one of the top 10 ideas put forward by the community at a number of meetings held in 2017 for the Wingham Place Making Project.
