My Under Pants Rules, is an infant’s book that has recently come to the attention of CWA members.

Written by a police officer, and brilliantly illustrated by her husband, it tells the rules for what are and what are not acceptable within underpants.

A book that should not have had to be written.

Wingham branch decided to purchase six copies and, during Book Week, present copies to the three primary schools, two pre-schools and the library.

We felt that if it saved even one child from sexual molestation our effort would be rewarded.

Our very first aim, which is still our most important, is the welfare of women and children. We weep for every abused child.

At the Cubbyhouse Preschool and Long Day Care Centre Wingham we were welcomed with glowing faces, delighted smiles and a great sense of joyful expectancy.

Every one had a story to tell and those in party ‘dress up’ were showing their special outfits.

They asked if we had a camera to take their photos.

Marcia Gilligan, branch treasurer, and Jac Hyde, vice president, were carried away by their feel good vibes.
