I was privileged to be invited to the 31st birthday party of Wingham Brush Club at the services club auditorium on August 6, attended by 56 guests. After morning tea there was entertainment and a number of lucky door prizes drawn. Lunch followed then more lucky door and raffle prizes. The cake was cut by members John Butler and Beryl Dawson. Thanks to the team of volunteers under the leadership of Peter Taylor and his wife Dorothy the day was a huge success. The group meet on Mondays from 9.30am at the Senior Citizen’s Hall in Primrose Street, near Whiddon Cour,. I am sure you would be made most welcome if you would like to join.
