Sunny days predicted across the Manning

Sunny days are forecast across the Manning this weekend and into next week.

The forecast maximum for Saturday, August 11, is for 25 degrees Celsius after an overnight minimum of 4. Winds will be from the north 15 to 20 km/h tending northeasterly in the late afternoon then becoming light in the late evening.

Sunday will be cooler, as the light winds become west to southwesterly 25 to 35kph during the morning then becoming light during the evening. The forecast maximum temperature is 18.

Frosts are likely to return on Monday, but daytime temperatures will gradually warm up to 25 degrees next Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Bureau of Meteorology says a high pressure system is moving eastwards across the Tasman Sea on Friday, extending a ridge to the NSW coast. Meanwhile, a strong cold front is crossing South Australia, and will affect NSW on the weekend.

Coastal winds are forecast to turn northerly and increase ahead of this system, which will bring a vigorous westerly change to the southern half of the coast on Saturday, extending throughout early Sunday.

Conditions should gradually ease later Sunday and Monday, as a new high approaches from the west.
