This will be Brown’s third stint in the league. The season will get underway on Saturday December 1, with the Renegades to play their first match on Sunday December 2 at the Junction Oval in Melbourne against Sydney Thunder.
The Renegades finished sixth last season, the club’s best performance in the league since it started in 2015/16.
A bowling all-rounder, Brown, 21, was named in the 13 strong national performance squad for the 2018/19 season for the second successive year. She also plays for ACT Meteors in the Women’s National Cricket League.
Brown started playing cricket in the Manning juniors, advancing to first grade with United in the Manning first grade competition, where she won a premiership.
