The Hunter Wind Ensemble will return to St John’s Anglican Church in Taree on Sunday July 29 to perform a fundraising concert in support of their upcoming tour of rural and remote communities in central Australia.

Manning Valley Concert Band will join them for a special set of music with an African theme.
Five local musicians currently play with the ensemble, Mitch Brown, Hannah Hartup and Riley Brown from Taree, and Shaun Carrol and Kyler Johnston from Great Lakes.
Tickets will be $15.
The ensemble will conduct workshops with local schools in Tuncurry on the Monday following the concert.
So far around 60 local students are expected to participate. The students will also have the opportunity to audition for the conductors if they would like to join.
