Organised by Taree Artists - The Art Society of the Manning, this massive exhibition of various mediums of visual artwork will hold its official opening on Saturday July 14 at Taree High School Hall, 15 Albert Street.
Not only is this one of the largest exhibitions of art in the Mid North Coast, attracting entries from around the State, it also has eight competition sections with a prize pool of $7,000. Being an open exhibition means anyone can enter any type of artwork.
At the opening, which takes place from 1.30pm until 3.30pm, the prizes winners will be announced. Entry to the opening is a $10 donation with light refreshments included and the chance to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.
The exhibit will be open to the public for one week from Sunday July 15 until Sunday July 22, each day from 9am until 4pm except for the final Sunday when the doors will close at 2pm. Admission is free.
With 300 new drawings, artworks, sculptures on display this exhibition is sure to have something to appeal to a wide range of art tastes.
