Jonty, is the livestock and production assistant at Wingham Beef Exports, the Manning Valley’s largest employer, and she will address The Manning Net on July 26.
Jonty’s passion has evolved from a young age and bolstered by her many awards, both individually and as part of teams, over years of showing and involvement with Beef Week.
Not limited to local events, Jonty has won the title of Junior Judge and the coveted FCAS (Federal Council of Agricultural Societies) National Beef Cattle Young Judges Championships at the Sydney Royal Easter show.
Jonty continues to gain experience in the red meat industry in her full time position at Wingham Beef Exports (the abattoir), and remotely studying through the University of New England (UNE) undertaking a double degree of Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business. She aspires to own her own property to be able to work with her own beef cattle - which seems more than achievable by this dynamic young local.
