Activities for the holidays

As the winter school holidays approach parents are nervously watching unreliable weather roll in, but MidCoast Libraries have put together some boredom buster activities designed to take the pressure off.

"We've included some favourite events that are real crowd-pleasers in this school holiday program,” library events officer, Danielle Donnelly said. "And parents love that most events are free, providing easy school holiday entertainment during what can be an expensive time for families."

Some of the fun and exciting activities on offer from July 9-20 include movie screenings, cooking workshops, drawing, science workshops, virtual reality experiences, Lego Club and much more.
