Bruce was nominated by Wingham Warriors for his ongoing commitment and dedication to football over 15 years of service.
“Clubs simply cannot run without the contribution of people like Bruce,” NNSWF community football manager Peter Haynes said.
“Bruce’s ongoing dedication to Wingham Warriors has been fantastic and should be celebrated.
“Wingham Warriors is a better football club for the contribution Bruce has made through his passion, hard work and willingness to ‘roll the sleeves up’ and help to provide the best football experience possible for Wingham Warriors players, parents and spectators alike.”
Newcastle Permanent Taree branch manager, Vanessa Byma, congratulated Bruce on becoming the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award.
“Newcastle Permanent’s Community Football Awards provide opportunities to recognise volunteers who generously give back to their clubs and communities. It is great to see a local representative being recognised for their ongoing commitment,” Byma said.
Bruce will receive a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist him in continuing to fulfil his role at the club.
