No. 2 Grade
Our best performed rink was that of Tom Moore, Glen Dennes, Barry Smith and Peter Tindall. However they were in trouble after only four ends to be down 12-nil and later in the game down by 12 again but our fellows were able to pick up seven shots and a single to draw level with an end to play. The strong Leagues visitors then took the final end with three shots with the final score being 24-21.
The rink of Rex Dawson, Michael Clarke, Chris Kane and Hunter Payton took the lead on a number of ends and were looking good at 17 apiece with three ends to play, but these went to Leagues with a win to them - 25-17.
Steve Matheson, Laurie Mullen, Daniel Leadbeater and Paul Swan could only win six ends and were down 14 to nil early with the final score being 27-15 to Leagues.
