The Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival is almost upon us and the town will soon be dressed in tartan.

The first event of the Festival is the Concert of Celtic Music, to take place at the Catholic Church in Farquhar Street on Sunday, May 27 at 2pm.
The concert will feature many local artists, including Sandra Kwa and Heather McLaughlin, Caitlyn Cameron, Ruth Crossman, Jodie Cooper, Cameron Waugh, Jim Kelly, John O’Donnell and dancer Krissie Waugh.
The featured vocal groups will be Wingham’s own Wingsong and In Acchord.
The emcee this year is Sandy Dunn (better known on Wingham golf course) and Jillian Dunn will lead a sing-a-long.
The newly named Manning Valley Pipes and Drums will also be present to entertain during afternoon tea.
Note the date in your diary now: Sunday, May 27 at 2pm at the Catholic Church, Farquhar Street, Wingham.
Tickets cost $10 adults and school children are free.
