Wingham Windows has a new name and a new generation of the Brown family at the helm.

Father and son team Michael and Josh Brown have renamed the business Browny’s Glass and Aluminium since taking over the reins in February.

The business has served the area for more than 20 years providing a variety of large and small glass and aluminium services.

It was started in 1996 by Michael’s father, and Josh’s grandfather, Kevin Brown who came from the local building industry.

With Kevin and his wife Edna choosing to retire, it seemed like the perfect time for Michael and Josh to turn their own dreams of owning the business into a reality.

They are joined in the business by employee Leigh Steer.

All three have a long association with the business.

Michael worked for his father for more than 20 years alongside Leigh for the past 10 years. Josh completed his apprenticeship with the business in 2006.

Over the years there has been no job too big or too small for the team.

They’ve provided products to fit out entire multi-story appartments right down to fixing one louvre window with a crack in it.

The younger generation of Michael and Josh are keen to continue to provide quality service and products to the people of Wingham and the surrounding area.

With a dream to grow the business they are providing exceptional service to both the local building industry and home owners renovating or repairing their properties.
