Tuesday ladies golf was a washout. Rain, beautiful rain, resulted in no golf being played. I am hoping for more.

Wednesday March 7 resulted in a small field for the veterans playing for the March Medal. The winner was Tony Shelley 71 nett. Next was John Daley 72, Cliff Sayers 73. John Thompson was the winner of the NTP on the 3rd/12th and Tony Shelly was the winner on the 7th/16th, 9th/18th David Homewood. Ces Pedron was the OBE winner.
At the Wednesday Ambrose there were 20 players. The winners were Steve Allwood and team the Cricketers, followed by Whatever, captained by Tim Smith.
On Thursday March 8 players contested the LJ Hooker Chook Run. The winners were Corey Franklin in from the wild with 25pts. Next was Alan Mudford 21, Chris Shaw 20c/b, Ash stewart 20, Kris Mudford 19, Pat Whiteley 18c/b. Rod Brown won the nearest the pin on the 3rd, Kris Mudford won on the 7th.
On Friday March 9 the ladies played a stableford event. The winner was Belinda Tonkin 21pts, r/up Bev Hodgson 19. Ball winners Volda Humphries, Noelene Nelson, Deb Stewart. NTP winner Volda Humphries.
On Saturday March 10, a stableford was played for the Coles Wingham voucher. The winner was Nev Boyd 39c/b, A Grade Neil Evenden 37, r/up Adam Buchtman. B Grade Craig Harrison 39, r/up Jim Bradshaw 36. C Grade Cliff Beattie 36, r/up Peter Pratton 35c/b. Chantelle Steere was the winner of the ladies event. The NTP winners on the 1st/10th Wingham Plaza Butchers Craig Harrison, 3rd/ 12th Wingham Remedial Massage Adam Buchtmann, 4th/13th Phil Jirman, 7th/16th Bayview Seafood Bill Osborne, 9th/18 Bent on Food James King. Ball winners were S. Gilfillan, R. Abbott, A. Yeo, G. Masters, G. Foy, J. King, P. Hanlen, M. Kohlman, G. Porter, N. Blanch, P. Muir.
