Starting at 10am the formal matters were soon dealt with and the fellowship began.
Most members had brought their lunch and enjoyed food and a chat.
Our afternoon guest speaker was Lyn Booth, who came in from Landcare to bring us up to date on their activities.
Their support and spread of information is vital to people on the land.
The afternoon turned into an information exchange in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Even down to exchanging recipes.
You don’t have to be a member to join in CWA activities, many of Thursday’s Handicraft ladies are not.
They meet from 9am to 11.30am, they spread friendship and fellowship and have a jolly good morning.
The Cultural group meet between 11am and noon on Tuesdays and love to have a sing along.
Never live a left out life or be lonely, CWA is there for women and children so make use of the activities.
The next meeting is on Friday February 16, why not call in and stay a while. Meeting 10am, talk and discussion 1pm.
