Wingham High School year 12 students are holding their inaugural Charity Shield Match, and have invited the former cricket great to participate in the fundraising T20 game.
The ‘Students’ team will come up against the ‘Teachers’ team, who have the unfair advantage of being assisted by Peter Taylor.

Wingham High School’s graduating class of 2018 have selected the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service as their charity of choice. The Westpac Helicopter plays a significant role in supporting our local community and many of our local families have benefited from their services.
On the night the school will be auctioning a cricket bat signed by the 2018 English team and raffling off the signed game ball from the fundraising match.
Wingham Beef Exports are coming to the party and will be cooking up pulled pork and brisket burgers for sale on the night.
The match is set for Tuesday March, 20 at Wingham’s Central Park and the school is inviting the community to attend.
