The students’ aim has been to build a car that will be powered by the sun.
In science classes they also made balloon-powered cars in order to test the effects of friction on their car design.
On December 4, the students presented their projects to an audience comprising parents, students from years eight, nine and 10, as well as year six students from the local primary schools.
