The evening is designed to raise money for the ongoing running costs of the school bus, owned by the school and used for the students travelling between local high schools for curriculum and sporting occasions.
“It is also an opportunity to showcase the wonderful talent existing within the school’s student body,” Rotary youth director Ron Hindmarsh said.
The students not only supply entertainment by gifted vocal and instrumental musicians but also do all the catering for the evening including setting up, food preparation, serving and design of the meal.
“You are assured of a wonderful meal and a night of fellowship and interest,” added Ron.
An evening such as this exposes our young adults to the wider community and provides a chance for guests to also meet the Principal and school staff and open employment opportunities for their businesses by meeting our talented local youth.
Cost of the dinner is $20 per person with soft drinks available for purchase (no alocohol is allowed on school premises).
For catering purposes bookings are essential by ringing the school on 6553 5488.
