More than 40 competitors are expected to take to the range with entrants coming from the Manning, Hunter and Lismore areas.
A variety of target presentations will give competitors different heights and angles to work with.
Club secretary Phil Baker tipped Craig Dargan to be a strong competitor on the day following a successful outing at a competition in Gunnedah.
“He’s one of the hot shots to win this weekend,” he said.
The event was originally slated for October 8 but was postponed due to conflicts with other clay shooting events. Cost for the competition is $45 with prizes up for grabs per grade. For non-competitive shooters, the cost of targets only will be $10 per round.
Grades will be determined on two random rounds.
A light barbecue lunch will be available as well as drinks.
Bronzewing Ammunition will be available on the day.
Competition will commence at 11am.
