Forster will be the venue for the southern section of the Swimming North Coast Short Course Championships on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18. A total of 804 entries have been received for the event, an increase on last year. The championships are held in two venues and the results merged to get a result in each event.   The northern section will be held at South Tweed indoor pool. Clubs represented include Forster, Taree, Wingham and Gloucester.
