Jack Pie and Cain Carmody scooped the pool by winning the day with their +13 and also picking up the jackpot which was shared on the rink with Dally Hammond and his partner.

Brian Williams, Andy Leung and once again Allan Dodd collected the runners up winnings with their countback win of +9 against Jim Gillogly and Glen Gilford.
Rick Mlunt playing his first game with our club teamed up with Mick Hollebone to win with a +9 against Jason Nicholson and Kev Coles.
Peter Holden, Dennis Rolfe and Glen Mansfield got up by two shots over Greg Bartlett, Tim Richardson and George Floyd.
District Pennants May 13
Our No. two grade travelled to Tuncurry for the final game of the season with Tom Moore, Glen Dennes, Robert Allan and Terry Rowe gaining a point with their 24-20 win.
Col Watson’s team held their own up to the 16th end when it was 16 all, however they faltered in the final ends to go down by 11 shots. Steve Matheson’s rink only lost by five shots against a strong team.
Playing Gloucester at home the sixes overall lost by two shots however they did pick up two points with Ian Furner’s rink winning by 10 shots and Rex Dawson getting over the line by a shot. This grade remain in the lead, however this week they have a deferred game against Leagues which is to be played at home.
The seven grade went to Lansdowne with the locals winning each rink comfortably. Stan Blurnell-Jone’s rink were in the lead after 12 ends and won 11 of the ends but lost by 10 shots. Brian Williams and his crew also went down by 10 shots. Peter Tindall and his fellows could only manage to win five ends.
Club pairs
Ian Furner and Ben Wolters cantered into the semis by downing the more experienced Col Watson and Laurie Mullen 27-12. On the 14th end the score was 21-3 with Col and Laurie only able to win five of the 21 ends but did redeem themselves to some degree with five shots on the 20th end to reach double figures.
