The performance troupes are inviting people to their concerts which will be held on Friday October 21 at 7pm, and Saturday October 22 and 29 at 2pm and 7pm.
Two performances, ‘Valor’ and ‘Confianza’ are on show each at each concert.
Valor (Spanish for ‘courage’) will be performed by the teen/adult troupe and will include aerial work on silks and trapeze, and floor work.
CircArtUs director, Jill Watkins said the past year has been a bumpy road for the troupes with more than the usual amount of injuries and other issues, and the title Valor was very apt as a theme for the past year.
The children’s troupe will be performing Confianza (Spanish for ‘trust’). Jill put forward four names for the children to choose for their performance, and Jill said they chose well.
“I thought the biggest hurdle they progressed through was to learn to trust each other as a group,” she explained.
Both performances will be accompanied by live music played by Sandra Kwa, and cast member Tom Lee has contributed an original composition for the silks routine.
Cost for entry is $10 per adult or $30 for a family of two adults and two children.
Tickets are available from Dress Up in Isabella Street, Wingham, and Sweet Pea and Mumma, upstairs at the Literary Institute, 121 Victoria Street, Taree.
