Tinonee clinched the Hunter final against New Lambton to win the Victory J Kelly Trophy in what is a first for the school and the Manning area.
The team consists of Logan Paulson, Matthew Matuzzny, Ausha Paulson and Jake Dargan.
They posted a 33 games to 22 win against New Lambton, a school that had previously dominated the Hunter finals.
Tinonee's campaign started in March when they accounted for Tuncurry and Forster schools before beating Barrington. They then surprised themselves with a strong win against Singleton in June.
As has been the trend, commendable and consistent play was prominent and lengthy rallies frustrated their opponents, forcing errors.
Logan, Ausha, Matthew and Jack all thrive under the guidance of local coach Shane Luduke and team coach and mentor Robin Middleton. Logan and Ausha were both selected in the Hunter PSSA team earlier this year.
