Akoostik presents North Coast Songwriters is a unique opportunity to see some of the north coast’s most successful performers all in one night, and with tickets priced at just $10 the event is expected to be a sell-out.
The line up includes local musician Matt Zarb, alongside Bill Roberts from Port Macquarie, Bec Willis of Gloucester and Forster’s MD West.
Also on stage will be Mojo Bluesman, just back from performing at Splendour in the Grass in Byron Bay, and local bands The Last Train and Up In Annie’s Room.
With each artist presenting three songs, the event is a taster for the Wingham Akoostik Festival, being held from October 17 to 19, with the celebration and promotion of original music representing the heart of the festival’s philosophy.
Akoostik presents North Coast Songwriters kicks off at 6.30pm on Thursday August 14 at the Foyer Bar in the Manning Entertainment Centre, with food and drink available for purchase, as well as CDs, merchandise and Akoostik Festival tickets.
Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased from Movies, Games and More, or online via the Manning Entertainment Centre.
Tickets to the Wingham Akoostik Festival are now on sale at earlybird prices, and those purchasing their festival tickets at the songwriter’s night will receive a free festival t-shirt, but act quick as t shirt supplies are limited!
