The club combined the celebration with a Christmas in July luncheon.
Upon arrival members were served a lovely morning tea and this was followed by an ordinary meeting.
Once the meeting was finished members were entertained with music, amusing anecdotes and bush poetry - all provided by talented Probus members.
The day finished with a very tasty traditional Christmas luncheon, beautifully prepared and served by chef Wes and helper Tennille.
Members meet regularly on the second Wednesday of each month and the club's activity officer arranges interesting activities.
The general meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month and the programme officer organises a guest speaker or items of interest.
Members interested in mah-jong and photography also meet regularly.
This is a very relaxed, social group who welcome new members.
If you are interested why not phone president Graham 6557 7221 or secretary Wendy 6553 4563, who will only be too happy to help you.
