The upcoming works extend from the end of the soon-to-be-finished Stage II works, through to and including the intersection of Avalon and Wallanbah roads. Councillors resolved to approve the tender for reconstruction of the pavement and associated drainage for the works from Koribah Lane to 150m west of the intersection.
The priority of traffic flow will be changed to reflect current traffic patterns, with the through route going from Wallanbah Road onto Avalon Road, heading west. This change is in line with the majority of vehicular movements. That newly aligned route from Wallanbah Road through to Avalon Road from Nabiac to Krambach is a Regional Road (MR 90).
