Vacancies: COUNCILLOR Peter Epov has resigned from five advisory committees - leaving vacancies that will need to be filled at the upcoming Greater Taree City Council meeting tonight.

The play: THIS Saturday more than 300 people will fill the town hall to watch Isabella the Play. Maggie Young's sell out production has become "bigger than Ben Hur," and Maggie is concerned there will be a line of people at the door hoping to gain entry.

Tigers: PORT City out enthused a disappointing Wingham to record an upset 36-16 win in the Group Three Rugby League game played on a cold day at the Wingham Sporting Complex on the weekend.

Ball: A LITTLE bit of magic will be sprinkled over the Manning Valley this Saturday night as the community comes together for the Magical Masked Festival Ball. The social highlight of the Manning Winter Festival, people are invited to dress up and come along for a fun night of fabulous music and magic.
