WINGHAM under nines stepped up a gear when they played the strong Taree Red Rovers in Group Three Junior Rugby League on the main field at the Wingham Sporting Complex on a cold and wet morning.
All the boys played awesome rugby league. Both teams went try for try most of the game. Ty Yarnold, James Swierczynski, Mason Latimore all had outstanding games with hard running up the middle with Hayden Turner steam rolling the Rovers with every run.
Braithe Tubnor, Kyle Buddle, Logan Holden broke the defence with Liam Andrews, Lincoln Cuthbertson and Cooper Walker all there in support.
Great game by all players in what was the under nines best performance the year. Braithe Tubnor received a well earned player of the match.
Great defence by the young Tigers

IT was cold and wet Saturday morning for the under eights when they took on the Forster Hawks.
Both teams started strongly displaying some great footy with some end to end stuff. The young Tigers defence was outstanding not letting the Hawks near there line.
The boys showed some great passing and ball skills to cross the line time and time again. To the Hawks credit they kept coming but the young Tigers were up to the challenge.
Try scorers Jett Gilbert (3), Reuben Ruttley (2), Lleyton Moore (2), Jonathan Aitken, Aiden Lewis, Logan Buddle, Tyson Hall. Goals Jett Gilbert, Lleyton Moore, Jack Baker. Player of the match was Cooper Young. Another great team effort by the boys.
