Regular rake Adam Kerr has been ruled out and coach Stu Baker admits he doesn't have the answer as to who will replace him.
"We don't have another hooker in the club,'' Baker said.
"I might event try Luke Steel there.''
The Tigers will also have to wait on clearances on brothers Tim and Matt Bridge along with prop Ben Welsh before determining his starting 13. Welsh hasn't played for nearly a month after sustaining facial injuries while the Bridges were injured in the clash against Macleay.
However prop Logan Polklington has returned from New Zealand and will be in the mix, either from the bench or in the run-on side.
The Tigers go into the game sitting in third spot, one shy of second placed Wauchope and two clear of Old Bar. This is the final game in the first round.
Baker said the Tigers have set themselves up nicely in the opening round.
"Now we're looking to get some momentum for the second round,'' he added.
The Breakers have had a poor first round and sit in last spot, although injuries have made it difficult.
Forster-Tuncurry make the trip to the Lank Bain Complex to tackle premiers Wauchope.
The Blues will be without captain-coach Rob Trembath, who has been ruled out of the North Coast team for tomorrow's Country championship semi-final because of groin and hamstring problems.
