CHAIR of the Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival Committee, Eric Richardson said he is delighted with the success of this year's event. He has extended a very big thank you to the members of his committee for their sustained efforts in the months leading up to the festival, and for their dedication over the Bannockburn weekend.

"I would particularly like to thank all the volunteers and sponsors without whom the festival isn't possible," he said.
There is only a short time to rest before preparations begin for the 2015 festival, Eric jovially warned his helpers. "I hope you all get rested and relax for a while because it is all about to start again!" he said.
Eric also commented that he had received many favourable comments from visitors of how well presented Wingham was. "On behalf of the committee I would like to thank Greater Taree City Council for the work council did for the festival."
