Last Sunday (May 25) 97 riders rode to Isabella Street in Wingham to meet at the starting point of the ride. According to organiser, Tony Love about 140 riders were expected in the main street for the start of the ride from Wingham to Krambach via Gloucester, Stroud, Bulahdelah and Nabiac.
Tony said the intent of the ride was to raise money for junior sporting clubs in Wingham but unfortunately the event did not make a profit after expenses. However, he added that the organisations the club engaged to provide the rider's 'smoko' at Stroud and lunch at Krambach did benefit from the ride.
