This program explains the physiology of stress and ways to achieve optimal performance and balance. Participants consider the power of and barriers to relationships. The workshop component concludes with a focus on functioning in life from your values.
Finish the afternoon with a meal and a game or two of barefoot bowls alongside mates. Bring a $10 note to the door and enjoy an afternoon of Barefoot and Balance. Bowling can be done barefoot but it is winter, so please bring a pair of flat soled shoes just in case (not workbooks).
Presenter, Amanda Jefferys, has a wealth of knowledge and theoretical background about what it takes to function optimally, particularly in relation to our own health and wellbeing. She is an advocate for mental health and the development of resilience in the bush where she lives. Amanda travels extensively presenting on the attributes of a positive and happy life.
