THERE was laughter and gratitude a plenty at the Wingham CWA rooms this morning (Thursday). Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead was on hand to open the new disabled toilet.

The jokes were flying thick and fast and the ladies assured their local member he wouldn't be asked to christen the new facility.
Mr Bromhead appeared to be in good spirits and humorously admitted it was a first time he had ever opened a new disabled toilet and cut the ribbon graciously.
The CWA has waited a long time for the new toilet and joking aside the aging membership has a great need for such a facility at their rooms.
The 'big cheque' presentation for $5800 took place in January with Mr Bromhead again attending.
Once the funding officially came through work began almost immediately and has just been completed.
The CWA members are thrilled to be able to offer the new toilet for public use any day they are in attendance - currently Tuesday and Thursday mornings and the third Friday of the month.
