- A 23 year old Tinonee man has been arrested for assaulting a police officer reported the Manning-Great Lakes LAC. The arrest took place in a licenced premises in Taree at about 12.10am Sunday.

- Manning Clean Water Action Group announced a free film night will be held next week at the Wingham Town Hall to further educate locals on the impact of unconventional gas mining. The two heart-wrenching Australian made films will be screened on Friday April 11 at Wingham Town Hall, 6.30 for 7pm start.

- Has Maggie found her Isabella? It looks like a suitable actress has been found to play Isabella Mary Kelly in the upcoming Wingham based play by Maggie Young. The identity of the lead is to be confirmed.
