- Council workers planted a new Lone Pine Tree in Central Park on Tuesday. Two students from Wingham High School’s Modern History class then did the spade work with members of the RSL sub branch and extended community looking on.

- Greater Taree City Council is undertaking road resurfacing works starting this week. Included in the list of resurfacing works is Bent Street (Isabella Street to Farquhar Street) and Bulga Road (Murray Road to Wallaby Joe).
