THE 2014 Group 3 pre-season competition began on the weekend, with the Tigers playing Taree City at Jack Neal Oval on Sunday afternoon.

The Bulls had the ball in the first ten minutes, and led 10-0 with two tries.
On their first raid into Taree territory, Aaron Bakewell scored in the corner.
Another try five minutes later by Tim Bridge made the score 10-8.
Just before the break, Taree City scored again to lead 14-8 at half time.
Six minutes into the second stanza, new import Clint Connors scored for the Tigers. He converted his own try to level the scores at 14-14.
A mistake by Wingham led to another Bulls try and a 20-14 lead.
The game was getting a bit fiery, and Tepuhi Rudolph was sin-binned along with a Taree player.
Five minutes later, Riki Toby scored near the posts, and Luke steel converted to level the score again.
Inside the final two minutes, Adam Kerr ran from about twenty metres out, and scored under the posts.
Luke Steel's kick made the final score 26-20 - a victory for the Tigers.

THE Under 18s also played in the pre-season, also against Taree City.
A try from dummy half gave the home team a 6-0 lead.
Shannon Ellum barged his way over near the posts. Fletcher Lewis converted the try to level the scores 6-6.
After a 40-20 kick from Shannon Ellum, the result was another try to him, again converted by Fletcher Lewis to give Wingham a 12-6 lead.
A try to Reece Slaven in the corner pushed the advantage to 10 points.
The Bulls scored just before the break to trail 16-12.
Midway through the second half, Fletcher Lewis scored in the corner for a 20-12 advantage.
A late try to Taree City was not enough, with the Tigers victorious by 20-16.
