They came here as a vocational training team hosted by Great Lakes Rotary and were in Wingham for just one day. After morning team at the Walsh's farm at Killawarra they went on an inspection tour to see how an Australian Farm operates. Lunch was prepared by Rotary members at the Brush followed by a cruise on the river. After a walk through the Brush they returned to the Walsh's dairy for milking after which they were returned to their hosts.
The Wingham Rotary Club said this was a great day and members were able to showcase the area well. The visitors thoroughly enjoyed their day and as their backgrounds are all in agriculture this was a great opportunity for them to see the local dairy industry. Caterers at the Brush and at the Walsh's did a great job.
The visitors were most impressed with the local area and really appreciated the opportunity to see an operational dairy farm and be able to compare it to those in the States.
