Dane and Lloyd ran a clinic at Tuncurry Public School after student Lachlan Otway won a competition to be their host for the day.
Attention now turns to the registrations.
The first of three free Come and Try days is coming up on Sunday, February 23 at Taree Recreation Grounds kicking off at 10am.
These are open sessions where children can have a go at the game and sign up on the day. Registration is only $85 per season with no ongoing game fees.
Sessions are held at the same venue each week; Johnny Martin Oval and you receive an AFL Auskick backpack filled with goodies.
"We had 50 pre-registered for this season and already have a number more coming in," marketing co-ordinator Jeremy Thornton said. "We finished 2013 with over 85 children and hope to top 100 this year.
"The family really enjoy the mornings and friendships that are forged.
"Boys and girls aged five to 12 years can play and no background in the sport is required.
"Come along and give it a go."
