In a very entertaining and closely fought out final the team of Steve Matheson, Graeme Ireland, Paul Swan and Andy Sloboda took the title for 2020 with their single shot ( 17-16) win against Phil Malone, Justin Costa, Greg Cuttance and Scott Hatton.
Steve's team led 5 nil early and retained the lead until the 11th end with the score then being 7 apiece. Phill' crew then held the lead until the 17th end.
On the next end Phill found himself down by 2 shots with his final bowl to play and with one of his customary drives he took the kitty into the ditch and with four of his team's bowls nearby they collected 5 shots to shoot to the lead.
On the final end (21st) Phill's team held a shot advantage but it was Steves' team who collected the 2 shots for the title. As matter of interest it was Andy's first time into a Club final and title.
