Held each year in Wingham the awards ceremony recognises some of our greatest achievers in four categories:
- Citizenship: A person who has contributed to our community over time and means
- Pride of workmanship: A person who is enthusiastic in what they do and in what field
- Sportsperson: A sportsperson's achievements, name of sport and for how long
- Young achiever: A young person who has worked for and contributed to our community, animals, aged or other persons, school proud and school achievements
