The winners for this year are Brian and Peter Williams who were fortunate to have with them George Floyd who came into the team when regular member of the combination – Howard Snelson – withdrew due to medical reasons.

Their opponents were Steve Matheson, Barry Smith and Glenn Gilford who earlier had eliminated Rex Dawson and his team.
The final score was 21-20 to Brian and his team in a very close encounter throughout the 25 ends with the scores levelled on a number of occasions. On the 23rd end it looked promising for Brian’s team with a four shot lead but they then hung on to take the title.
Wednesday social
Brian Williams, Ray Foxley (visitor) and George Floyd finished with a +7 over T. Bruton, Ben Wolters and Peter Holden.
Also with a +7 win were Peter Williams and Tim Richardson against Stan Burnell-Jones and Glenn Gilford.
Ian Furner, Mick Hollebone and Allan Dodd as swinging lead got a +5 result over Daniel Leadbeater and R. Simonds, a visitor also.
Dallas Hammond, Tony Baker and W. Merchant had a shot win against Greg Bartlett, Denis Rolfe and S. Burgess.
Saturday
Nominated triples had a draw from the cards and Glen Dennes, Ben Wolters and Mick Hollebone took home the spoils-they had defeated Greg Bartlett, Stan and Leslie Burnell-Jones by two shots.
Also taking home some vouchers were Michael Clarke, Hunter Payton and Barry Smith by winning by five shots against Peter Williams, Graeme Mansfield and Tim Richardson.
Laurie Mullen, Snow Trenchard and Ian Furner showed no mercy to Graeme Ireland, Paul Swan and Alana Burns with a 31-9 result.
Peter Kriss, Peter Tindell and Jack Pie had a six shot win over Dallas Hammond, Chris Kane and Peter Holden.
