On Wednesday September 13 the veterans held their annual open day sponsored by Country Business Solutions. The winners were B. Roberts for A Grade, D. Irvine, for B Grade, O. Haynes C Grade, runner ups V. Thompson, L. Worth, C. Thomas, third W. Norris, B. Hotchkiss, B. Hodgson.
The nearest the pin winners on the 3rd/12th A. Hobbs, and on the 7th/16th Cliff Sayers. There were 69 starters.
On Thursday September 14 the LJ Hooker Chook Run was played, and the winner was John Thorburn 21. Next was Grant Lewis 19c/b, Jamie Berry 19, Ken Squires 18c/b, Pat Whiteley, 18c/b Kris Mudford 18. The NTP winners on the third Graham Troth and on the seventh Pat Whiteley.
On Friday September 15 the ladies played a stableford competition. The winner was Connie Gates with a massive 25pts for nine holes, r/up Robyn Dudgeon 21. Pat Whiteley was the winner of the nearest the pin.
Results for Saturday September 16 were Alwyn Elith 43pts winning the Wingham Cellars Trophy for which there were 75 starters. A Grade winner was Jolen Homewood 41, r/up Cam Darby 38. B. Grade Pete Hinton 39, R/up Adrian Yeo 39, C. Grade Ted Smith 41, r/up Garry Masters 39. The ladies winner was Marg Grundy 32.
The sharp shooters were on the 1st/10th winning the Wingham Plaza Butchers Reid Brown, 3rd/12th Manning Natural Healing voucher Paul Muir, 4th/13th Ted Smith, 7th/16th Bayview Seafood Gary Hinton, 9th/18th Bent on Food Nev Blanch.
Balls went to 33 pts with Corey Moore winning the last one.
