In his opening address newly elected president Grant Coleman praised the previous committee for their past efforts, especially outgoing president Paul Relf.
“Beef Week has been going so long that I can recall taking part as a Wingham High School student myself,” Mr Coleman said.
“While this year’s Beef Week was another successful event and attracted a record number of competitors and visitors from all over NSW, it is continuing to grow with inquiries already being received from more schools and competitors.
“Such growth, while welcomed, will also bring more challenges but the positive feeling among the AGM attendees gives me great confidence that as a team we will be up to the task of a very successful 2018.” Mr Coleman said.
The committee sends an open invitation to members of the community to become part of the Beef Week Team.
Planning for the 2018 Beef Week extravaganza has already begun.
