There was an open church and sausage sizzle as well as entertainment by Cameron Waugh and Kay Lygoe playing some of the 600 odd hymns from the award winning ‘Community of Christ Sings’ hymn book on the church keyboard.
The Knit and Knatter group showcased some of their Wrap with Love rugs on display as well as some knits for premature babies which are donated to the hospital.
“It was a great day,” Wendy Ballard of Green Cathedral Ministries said.
On Sunday a service celebration was held with Australian Mission president Ben Smith as guest minister.
