On Saturday, July 29 there will be an open church with a complimentary sausage sizzle from 11am to 2pm. Cameron Waugh and Kay Lygoe will entertain by playing some of the 600 odd hymns in the award winning ‘Community of Christ Sings’ hymn book on the church keyboard.
The Knit and Knatter group, which meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month, will have some of their Wrap with Love rugs on display along with some knits for premmie babies which are donated to the hospital.
The church is making up hampers for the Manning Women’s Refuge and donations of any non perishable items would be appreciated.
A service of celebration will be held at 1.30pm on Sunday July 30 with Australian Mission president Ben Smith as guest minister. A light lunch will be served at noon prior to the service.
All welcome to join in the celebrations.
