Two large Cushman & Wakefield signs erected on Manning River Drive puts an end to community hopes that Home Consortium would act to refit the 9910 sqm property to create a large format retail site that could potentially house stores such as Anaconda, Spotlight, Sportsman’s Warehouse and JB Hi-Fi. Instead, it is acting to try to sell off or lease the property along with Heatherbrae, near Newcastle, three Queensland stores – Highland Park, Cairns and Bundamba, two Western Australian stores – Bibra Lake and Forrestdale and Victorian store, Coolaroo.
Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive marketing agent and describes the Taree site as “an outstanding opportunity to purchase a high-quality, near new fully air conditioned building.”
The building is on a 3.3 hectare site, with 281 car spaces and is described as a “high-profile site” with “excellent access and visibility.” It is offered for sale or lease via Expression of Interest closing 4pm on Thursday, August 10.
