Firstly, our bowling club was very proud to see Denise Matheson get through and play semi-finals in the District Singles. It is no mean feat to get to this level.

On the Tuesday Denise played two matches in the one day, defeating top players to get to the semi-finals. Denise played Sarah Boddington who is well known in the District for her good bowling skills.
Congratulations Denise on your bowling and the sportsmanship you displayed on the green. You did us proud.
At home
This week was the semi-final round of Club Triples Championship. Results are:
- L. Cross (skip), L. Gilford, C. Willey – 22 defeated E. Holden (skip), T. Rushworth, P. Weir – 12;
- D. Matheson (skip), C. O’Donnell, L. B-Jones – 20 defeated M. Hinton, J. Nash, J. Pedron – 8.
Social Bowls
In a triples game L. Dennes (skip), J. Thorburn, M. Hollebone – 13 drew with P. Marcus (skip), N. Sandford, M. Walsh – 13.

Special mention
It was with great pleasure at our AGM to present our popular bowler Noreida Fotheringham OAM and patron with life membership to Wingham Ladies Bowling Club. Noreida was overjoyed and of course was not short for words and gave a lovely speech. Congratulations Noreida – you deserve it.
