The weekend of July 21 and 22 will see the ‘Queen of Winter Flowers’ – the camellia - displayed at a new venue, the Club Taree auditorium.

Anyone who has these beautiful blooms in their garden is invited to exhibit at the show.
Entry is free of charge, and blooms will be accepted Thursday, July 20 between noon and 5pm. Garden club members will be available to assist if you do not know the name of your camellias or which section/class they should be in.
Friday morning, July 21, judging will take place until 10am. Visitors can attend from 10am – 4pm.
The official opening will be at 11am, conducted by local identity and president of The Garden Clubs Of Australia, George Hoad.
Saturday, July 22 the show will again be open to the public from 10am to 3pm. Admission on Friday and Saturday is only $2 per person, with proceeds going again to a local charity.
The popular trading table will be there, with plants and various other items available for sale. The Punjing Bonsai Club will have a display, as will the Taree Showground Men’s Shed, with plant and herb boxes among items for sale.
This is 38th annual Camellia Show, and everyone is encouraged to visit.
