A car drove into the site, on the corner of High and Pulteney Streets, that resulted in extensive damage to the heritage building.
A large room that normally houses craft is currently cordoned off after an examination by an insurance company, building assessors and engineers.
Taree Craft Centre president Tracey Dyson wanted to ensure the community that business is trading as normal.
“Our display is just a little less spread out and some items have had to be limited on display,” she said.
The Taree Artists Members Exhibition will continue at the centre as planned.
The cafe attached to the centre is also unaffected and will continue to trade as normal.
