Our judges had a difficult job deciding the winners of the Wingham Chronicle 2017 Pet Academy Awards.
We had more than 90 entries in our competition this year but after much deliberation, the winners of each category were chosen.
Winners
Cutest Pet: Penny the Jack Russell owned by Rick Riley.
“This dog looked like it was ready for some serious fun,” said one of our judges.
Best Companion Pet: Jock the Ridgeback, who loves having fun with his young owner, Sevannah Page.
“This dog looked so happy and relaxed with his family,” commented a judge.
Best Dressed Pet: Louie the cat owned by Matthew James.
“This cat definitely was best dressed. Loved the Tuxedo.”
The three winners have each won a family pass valued at $120 to Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
Thank you to all our pet entrants and owners and our patient and discerning judges.
